Community Days & Opportunities
At CLASS, we believe a good life is about more than where someone lives. Our community connections and day opportunities support helps people stay active, connected and involved in everyday life, building confidence, independence and a sense of belonging in their local community.
While we do not run our own day centre, we work closely with trusted partners and local services to offer a wide range of meaningful opportunities tailored to each person’s interests, goals and comfort level.
Meaningful Days, Local Opportunities
Working closely with trusted partners and local services
Education, Learning & Skills
We support people to explore education and learning opportunities that match their goals and abilities. This may include local colleges, short courses, life-skills sessions, work-readiness programmes and training workshops, helping people build skills, confidence and future opportunities.
Volunteering & Work Experience
For those who are interested, we support access to volunteering and work experience opportunities within the local community. This can include charity shops, community gardens, animal rescues, environmental projects, foodbanks and other local initiatives, supporting people to feel valued, purposeful and involved.
Social & Community Life
Support is tailored to each person’s needs and can range from a few hours a week to 24-hour care, including waking night support. Support plans are flexible and reviewed regularly to make sure they continue to meet the person’s needs.
We’re proud to have a strong connection with the local day care centre, The Ark Centre, where we regularly arrange enjoyable days out and enriching experiences.
